The sunlight hitting more of the surface of the leaves causes the yard to be much healthier and thicker.
Do not remove more than one third of the length of the grass blades when mowing the grass. If you remove more than this amount of material, your grass will become stunted and turn a yellowish color after mowing.
How often should you mow, to not cut off no more than one third of the grass blade length. We recommend weekly cutting of the grass to produce these results.
The next thing is to use sharp blades. You want to make sure your grass blades are being cut and not just shredded. This will cause your yard to look To look uneven and not as smooth.
Then mulching the grass when cutting. This puts the nitrogen being removed from the plant back into the soil. This save money on fertilizer and is a very organic method of fertilization.
